KATYAYINI GARGI
Katyayini Gargi (b. 1990, Bangalore, India) graduated with a BVA in Painting from M.S.U., Baroda followed by a MFA from Central Saint Martins, London.
Earlier working primarily with painting, Katyayini’s work has evolved into a multi-disciplinary practice, spanning across painting, animation/video, sound, sculpture and writing. She has also been composing, producing and performing music which she releases as albums and EPs under the moniker “Skulk”.
She has been a part of numerous group exhibitions including: Mycelial Legacies IV curated by Deeksha Nath, Anant Art Gallery, Noida (2025), Mirror Mirror, Anant Art Gallery, Noida (2024), Out of Turn curated by Advait Singh with Modern Art Gallery at Bikaner House, New Delhi. She is a grantee of the Experimenter Generator Co-Operative Art Production Fund (2020), and holder of the Jeram Patel Award (2013).
She is currently based in Goa. She is currently a participant in the Studio Catalyst mentorship program by Anant Art Gallery.
