SEJAL SOLANKI
Sejal Solanki (b. 1996, Ahmedabad, India) is an emerging visual artist with a Diploma from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad (2023), and a Post Diploma from Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Vadodara (2025).
Sejal’s practice explores personal relationships, emotions, memory, and everyday experiences through painting and mixed media. Working primarily with tea wash and gouache, she creates layered narratives that reflect on identity, solitude, and human connection. Through her work, she seeks to transform intimate observations into visual experiences that invite reflection and dialogue.
Sejal has exhibited her works at the Annual Display of Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Vadodara; Art Mela 2.0 at 105 Art Gallery, Punjab (2025); the Nasreen Mohammadi Scholarship display, at Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Vadodara. She has been a part of residencies such as the Arthshila × Anant Art Foundation Artist Residency at Arthshila Art Studios, Parivartan, Siwan (2026) and the Monsoon Residency at Space Studio, Vadodara (2025). She is currently based out of Vadodara. She is currently a participant in the Studio Catalyst mentorship program by Anant Art Gallery.
