DAKSHAYANI CHIPPADA
Dakshayani Chippada (b.1998, Andhra Pradesh, India), has a BVA and MVA in Printmaking from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, respectively.
Her practice draws from an early foundation in printmaking, and has transformed to drawing as her primary medium. Working across a combination of colored pencils, graphite, and copper wire stitching, she translates profound inner experiences into quiet, minimal visual narratives. Her work explores themes of memory displacement, isolation, and silence, reflecting on the continuous negotiation between self, space, and belonging within changing landscapes.
She has exhibited her work at India Art Fair (New Delhi) with 1 Shanthiroad Studio/Gallery. She has also been part of several group shows like, Mycelial Legacies- IV: The Ground We Share curated by Deeksha Nath at Anant Art Gallery, Noida in 2025, Mirror Mirror at Anant Art Gallery, Noida in 2024, Expanded Disciplinarities- Chapter 1: Constructing Painterly Relations, a painting grant show curated by Sibdas Sengupta at Art Centrix Space, New Delhi, in 2024.
