ANUSHREE RABADIA
Anushree Rabadia (b. 1998, Vadodara, Gujarat) obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (2021, 2023 respectively).
Her artistic practice explores the intersection of painting and weaving, creating a harmonious dialogue between these mediums. Her work is deeply inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature, distilling its forms into simplified elements to reveal an underlying symphony of lines, shapes, textures, and colors. Crafted with precision, often through innovative techniques like mount board cuttings, her paintings evoke serenity, sensitivity, and an impressionistic, musical quality. Anushree’s art reflects themes of connection, renewal, and mystery, inviting viewers to engage emotionally.
She was awarded the Late Milind Madhukar Bhade Gold Medal in Painting in 2024, the Nasreen Mohamedi Scholarship in 2023, and the Jeram Patel Award in 2021, from her alma mater. Her solo virtual exhibition Vannat, with the Art Platform, Limited Edition Gallery took place in 2022. Her group exhibitions include Voices of Women: a young collectors pop-up, Art Garde (New Delhi, 2024), The Art of India ‘24 (Third edition), Art Magnum and The Times of India (New Delhi, Mumbai 2024), NEWS- Art Fest ’24 by India Fine Art, Hyderabad State Art Gallery (Hyderabad, 2024), Atypical Corollaries, Art Magnum Gallery (New Delhi, 2023), Lost Fragrance of Infinity, Fundraiser show, Space 118, (Mumbai, 2023) etc. among others. Anushree is based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
